CLAIMS AGAINST MF GLOBAL UK LIMITED

Guy Butler has just executed the purchase of a client money claim against MF Global UK Limited (in special administration). The transaction was structured to enable the claimant to receive a portion of their money immediately so that their business could resume trading. The balance of monies will be split between the claimant and the purchaser when they became available. Our client would also consider purchasing general creditor or trapped security claims. We believe that this may be the first significant secondary sale of MF Global UK Ltd claims.

We would also be interested in purchasing residual claims against MF Global Inc. Purchases can be structured in similar ways to give the selling claimant a share in the ultimate proceeds returned.
